Birch Box, June 2014

 My first ever birch box!

Birch box is a $10/mo beauty subscription box. They send you 4-7 high end samples each month. This is a perfect place to start finding new products. The box is customized to your beauty profile so you could get one of many different boxes each month. Well enough talking lets take a look at the box!
I got:
Suki exfoliate foaming cleanser I used this on my feet in the shower, it smelt amazing but didn't seem to do much exfoliating...maybe I was supposed to use this on my face.

Harvey prince hello I like the smell of this in the bottle but it changes once its on my body.

Egyptian magic skin cream This stuff is oily and unscented. I put it on my dry elbows and feet but have not really seen a difference.

Laqa and co sheer lip lube in coral  I like the twist tube and smooth application but I don't think this color is for me, I have dark lips and this kind of settles in lines of my lips.

Davines oi all in one milk  I put this in my hair after a shower and the smell was really over powering.

Davines love smoothing shampoo and conditioner  This made my hair so silky soft and smooth! My hair is really long, fine and strait so I need something that gives my hair volume. I was obsessed with running my fingers through my silky hair but it did make it flat.

Verdict: I'm probably not going to purchase any of the items I received in the box but it was a lot of fun to try new things.  I'm looking forward to next months box already!

Love,
Jess

Lets start at the beginning.

I've never really gotten anything but drug store beauty products and I'm not sure I learned any new makeup techniques after the age of twelve, but that is all about to change. As a grown woman, I'm going to spread my wings and discover what many others probably learned in high school while I spent my lunches in the library. So, join me as I embrace femininity and expand my beauty horizons.

Love,
Jess
